HIGHLIGHT
Sanctuary for Rhinos, Chimpanzees and excellent tracking of the “Big Five”
Rhino Sanctuary: Ol Pejeta is the largest sanctuary for endangered black rhinos in East Africa. It is a secure home to Najin and Fatu – the last two remaining Northern White Rhinos on Earth.
Chimpanzee Sanctuary: This is the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees.
The “Big Five” & more: The conservancy offers excellent tracking for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and Cape buffaloes. It is also home to unique northern wildlife, including the rare Grevy’s zebra and Jackson’s hartebeest.
Best Time for Wildlife Viewing: June to September and December to February. The peak dry seasons; thin vegetation and dry bush mean wildlife concentrates heavily around waterholes and rivers, making tracking incredibly reliable.
